50. Mogote de los Hoyos. Mogotes are great freestanding rocks, the oldest geological formations in Cuba that range up to 1,000 feet high. The majority of the people in Valle de Viņales live and farm in the 'hoyos', literately, the holes between the walls that are filled with rich red soil perfect for growing tobacco.
